FutureUP L.P. (“FutureUP”, “we”, “us”) is a limited partnership organized under the laws of Greece, registered with GEMI no. 158101103000, seated in Athens, at 10 Korthiou Street, 11254, Athens, Attica, Greece.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how we process personal data, when you:

  • Visit our official website www.futureup.io (the “Website”), and/or

  • interact with us for business enquiries and support.

For the Website and business contacts, FutureUP acts as data controller.

For enterprise deployments of our software, we generally act as a data processor and process data strictly under the customer’s documented instructions, governed by a Data Processing Agreement, where applicable.

We are not required to appoint a Data Protection Officer (DPO) under Article 37 GDPR.

2. What Data We Collect and Why

A. Website & Business Contacts

  • Identification & contact data (name, surname, business email; and, if you provide it, company, role, phone): to respond to enquiries, schedule demos, and provide support.
Legal basis: legitimate interests (B2B communications) or consent where applicable.

  • Technical/usage data (IP address, device/browser type, basic diagnostic logs, pages visited, session timing): to operate, secure, and improve the Website.
Legal basis: legitimate interests (Website security and performance).

  • Cookies: we use essential cookies for site operation. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies at this time (see Section 7).

We do not intentionally collect special category data.

B. Services

For enterprise deployments, our solution does not require customer personal data to perform predictive price optimization. In limited cases we may process user identifiers (name, surname, business email) to enable account notifications, access control and audit.

  • Role: processor (we act on our respective customer’s instructions).

  • We do not use customer data to train our models unless expressly agreed in writing.

3. Sharing & Recipients

We share personal data only with:

  • Website service provider: Wix.com Ltd. (site hosting and platform). Wix acts as our processor under contractual terms with confidentiality, security and GDPR clauses.

  • Professional advisers (e.g., legal/accounting), as strictly necessary.

  • Authorities where required by law.

We do not sell or otherwise transfer your personal data.

For enterprise deployments, no sub-processors are engaged by FutureUP at this time beyond any infrastructure operated directly by the customer.

4. International Data Transfers

FutureUP does not itself transfer personal data outside the EEA/UK in the ordinary course of Website operations. Wix may process data in the EU/EEA and/or Israel. Israel benefits from an EU adequacy decision. Where Wix processes data in any other non-adequate country, appropriate transfer safeguards (e.g., SCCs or an applicable adequacy framework) are applied.

5. Data Retention

  • Website/business enquiries: twelve (12) months after last contact (unless you become a customer).

  • Security/technical logs: twelve (12) months.

  • Contractual/financial records: five (5) years, or as required by applicable law.

  • Processor data (enterprise deployments): as defined in the applicable customer contract/DPA and instructions.

6. Cookies

We use only essential cookies needed to operate the Website. Our cookie banner allows you to view/manage cookie choices. We currently do not use analytics or advertising cookies, unless explicit consent is provided by the Website user.

7. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures, including encryption in transit, least-privilege access controls, and vendor confidentiality obligations, to protect personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, or loss.

8. AI Transparency Notice

FutureUP provides predictive price optimization for enterprise customers. We ingest customer-provided business data and generate pricing insights/recommendations. Our system is not a generative AI or LLM.

Data we use. We use non-personal business data (e.g., products, historical sales, price lists, promotions). Any personal data, if present at all, is typically limited to business contact details (e.g., user email for notifications) and is not used to train models.

Roles & Instructions. For customer deployments, the customer is the data controller and FutureUP acts as processor, processing data solely under the customer’s instructions and the applicable agreement/DPA.

Training & model updates. Customer data is not used to train or improve FutureUP’s general models unless a separate, explicit agreement provides otherwise. Any model tuning for a customer uses that customer’s data solely for that environment.

Outputs & oversight. Outputs are recommendations that support commercial decision-making. Final pricing decisions remain with the customer. We do not perform solely automated decision-making producing legal or similarly significant effects (GDPR Art. 22).

Security. Access is restricted under the least-privilege principle; encryption in transit and at rest; activity logging; and administrative controls are applied.

Explainability & performance. We monitor model accuracy and stability and can provide high-level explanations (e.g., key drivers/features) and performance metrics upon request.

9. Your Rights

Subject to GDPR and Law 4624/2019 conditions, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, or data portability, and you may withdraw consent at any time (where processing is based on consent).

To exercise your rights, please contact info@futureup.io

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (HDPA). Complaints can be submitted via the Authority’s online complaint form available on its website, or by any other means accepted by the HDPA.

We may update this notice from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date.
